WALKING SHOES

It was an impulsive decision and i knew it was going to be one of those good decisions when u don't think and just do...so was this trek. I had done Kedarkantha before so this one was one of easier trek, at least i thought so before booking it on 12 just to leave on 15th and an incredible journey started from Gujarat to Uttarakhand... What can i say i am an impulsive person... either i think too much or not at all...there is no in between...it’s like all or none law for me... Sometimes it turns out disaster and sometimes it gives me immense happiness like this one... So journey started from Ahmedabad to Delhi by flight and Delhi to hardware via train and we reach Haridwar 7.30 am and vehicle was arranged to take us to Sari a small village from where we were going to start trekking from next day...On the way from Haridwar to Sari we saw Devprayag where   there is   a confluence of river Alaknanda and Bhagirathi to from River Ganga and you can see two shades of greens merge itse

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NyndUlu1TVw  I saw a advertise and couldn't believe that it it to be held in Mehsana 1 hr distance from where I live.  I had to reach at 7 am at mehsana airport...The person who is going to jump along with me was a American fellow with A licence in skydiving from USA parachute association. this type of jump is called tandem jump. for solo jump you have to do a A licence course. After completion of formalities they gave me a suit, i don't know what they call it. Cameron also got ready and I was kind of in shock..am I really doing this? there was a small chartered plane which was going to fly up to 10000 feet height and from there we were going too jump. as they said I will be attached to Cameron, and we will take a free fall of 15 to 20 seconds, and after that after reaching 5000ft height he was going to open a parachute and we will land on a aerodrome.    I stepped out of Indigo flight on 29th December and fresh breeze fulfilled my lungs.i stepped into auto to be at my clinic and there was gush of polluted air of Ahmadabad and i instantly remember the gentle wind of Kedarkantha..
